Vol.3 of the Music Masters series features three very musical and yet very driving, electronic sounding and dancefloor compatible tracks. Chris Wreckage Machinery from Vienna teams up with Mealor for "Needless to say" and delivers his own "Roulette" - excellent follow ups to his stunning "Colours" debut on The Green Man's Basswerk label. While "Needless to say" starts lush and then gets really busy, "Roulette" touches the harder edge even a little bit more while still having its very musical parts. In between those two tracks we are happy to have a nice hello from Berlin's Sebastian "N.phect" Wild, Dizplay's brother and one half of the famous "Beautiful Bytes" album on Basswerk from N.phect & Dizplay. While his brother delivered and album earlier this year, N.phect had releases on Subtitles and can be found on various labels. "Vis a Void" is one of his more musical pieces with a wide range of athmospheric electronic sounds.

Ultima C is a collection of happy party tunes also with different tempos, while 053 covers ambient music, deepness and darkness with Breaslinger, Acid Lab pres. Kodama and ...our resident DJ Jumpat! Bill Vega & New Decade have both been DJ'ing since 1990. They have produced material covering styles from early Hardcore,DnB,House,Trance and Breakbeat and have been working with people like Andy C and Ant Miles.
They were both involved in pirate radio in the early 90’s helping run Shakedown FM with Bill Vega (then DJ Infinity) appearing on infamous London D&B pirates such as Weekend Rush & Eruption.

In late 1995 their track ‘Rise Up’, under the guise Vivid Dreams, was signed to dance major Deconstruction and entered the national charts with supported remixes from Origin Unknown and Liftin Spirits. Bill Vega also had numerous releases under ‘Joint Venture’ on Liftin Spirit Records working along side Ant Miles (Origin Unknown) until their musical tastes drifted into Trance where they were signed to German label Proton, gaining support from DJ’s like Ferry Corsten and Tiesto.

The turn of the millennium brought their entering the world of Breaks. They released on Wireframe, en:vision, Full Intent, Bassrock, Downbeat and Warehouse Waxcontinuous and received support from DJ’s such as ED209, F.F.S, Atomic Hooligan, Jay Cunning, Tayo, Cntrl Z, Hybrid, Aquasky, Hyper and Annie Nightingale.

After a split up in the mid 2000's they have recently reunited and here they are new on Basswerk Files with "Closer" and "Be there" - a stunning pair of energetic D&B tracks that will rock every party!

Dizplay is a Drum&Bass aesthete. While other producers demote themselves to mere audio engineers, for him the music is the key - without losing grip on sound. After the groundbreaking "Beautiful Bytes" album with n.phect on Basswerk in 2006 with its focus on Neurofunk, dizplay aka Henrik Wild now releases a beautiful electronic double album, labelled "Shift Happens".

Whereas on disc1 he follows his energetic singles' style, probably sounding even more mature, on disc2 dizplay advances further, using his musical skills for an electronic album beyond all boundaries. The total 26 tracks excel through both diverse facets and focus on detail, forming a soundtrack of modern urban life which seamlessly blends club and couch. But they all have that "Dizplay"-Sound in common. It is no coincidence the music-wise Cologne grown-up artist is sometimes referred to as "Trentemoller of Drum&Bass".

"Shift Happens" features various collaborations, ranging from Drum&Bass joint ventures with his brother n.phect, TGM (The Green Man) and Swiss Lost Sequence to several vocal tracks, which will also appear in his upcoming live act.

The release of this album marks Basswerk's third artist album in short time. By keeping up this ambitious pace, the label remains true to its aim of covering the complete Drum&Bass spectrum helping it album artists to bring out the best in an authentic way.

Enea & ATP team up for another great EP in Basswerk Files Liquid Jazz series. ATP is a versatile producer from Melbourne and, amongst others did a remix of Enea's hit "Star" (Original Version on Basswerk Sessions Vol. 3). Enea is Alessandro Greco from Italy (living in Freiburg), being well known for soulful and jazzy tunes. He also teams up with his mate MC Fava for "Smile". Both producers in total contribute 2 tracks each in addition to the Star Rmx, summing up to a total of 5 tracks on this tasteful and soulful EP!

Dizplay's stunning 1x CD album is coming worldwide on March 25! He has his very own electronic kind of aesthetic sound and delivers 2 very different CDs, one more aiming for the club, the other one for listening pleasure.
